How to Make These Awesome Trendy Star Jeans

You’ll need a pair of jeans, white fabric paint pens, a piece of paper, pencil and scissors. I found white paint pens on Amazon, pulled out all my jeans, picked a pair and got to crafting. My American Eagle flair jeans were perfect for this project.

When it comes to do it yourself projects this one is super easy and the results are too cute.

The first thing you’ll have to decide is what size you want your stars to be. I decided on big stars. I also decided to paint just one leg.

After scrolling on Pinterest for awhile I discovered that the varieties are endless. Big stars, little stars, white stars, white and colored stars, one leg or both legs, the front or the back of the jeans! Once you have an idea of the size of stars and where on your jeans you want to paint simply make a stencil and get to painting.

Step One

Make your star stencil. I drew a star on a piece of paper, cut it out and used it to trace the stars on my jeans. A pencil works great for creating your star outlines. I started at the pocket and went with a back and forth pattern down the pant leg.

Step Two

Use a white paint pen (or color of your choice) and fill all your stars in.

A few hours later I had my new trendy star jeans completed! And just in time for Labor Day!

Will you give making these awesome trendy star jeans a try?

Happy DIYing!

xoxo Naomi
