DIY Painted Pots

I’ve been growing my succulent garden thanks to cuttings from some friends. Succulents are about the only plant I seem able to keep alive so I’m a very happy girl right now. I picked up a bunch of terracotta pots from the Dollar Tree this week and some acrylic paint at Michaels. Can we say most affordable DIY ever?!

Here’s how to make your very own DIY Painted Pots:

Step One: Gather your supplies. I used pink, mint blue/green and rose gold acrylic paint. You’ll also need mini terracotta pots, painter’s tape and paint brushes.

Step Two: Tape off your pots. I painted all of my pots differently. I love that no two pots are the same. Paint a pot all one color, mix it up and paint them two tone or three tone, tape off and paint shapes, or even overlap colors. The choice is yours!

Step Three: Get painting. I taped off and painted the bottom portion first, let dry and then painted the rim.

Step Four: Plant your succulents and enjoy your lovely new DIY Painted Pots!

I’m beyond happy with how these turned out. The color combination is perfect. And the succulents look adorable in their new little pots!
