DIY Chalkboard Tea Jars
I immediately fell in love with the idea of tea storage jars when I saw this post on the gorgeous blog Wit and Whistle. Thank you Amanda for the inspiration.
The jars are in one word: adorable! They are also beyond easy to make. I put my DIY Chalkboard Tea Jars together in a matter of minutes. These little jars are the perfect storage solution for all sorts of fun things! You can store more than tea in them too of course. I can think of all sorts of fun things to use them for, knick knacks and tacks or candy and snacks and more!
Materials Needed to make your own DIY Chalkboard Tea Jars:
Chalkboard paint, paintbrush, mini mason jars and loose leaf tea.
Tip: Serve your tea prettily on a china serving tray with flowers, like hand picked lavender, on the side!
How to make DIY Chalkboard Tea Jars:
Step one: Paint the lids of your jars with chalkboard paint. I coated with three layers of chalkboard paint and let the paint dry between each layer. Wait three days for it the paint to fully set before you write on it.
Step two: Fill with loose leaf tea. I love how pretty this Chai tea from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is.
Step three: Enjoy your new chalkboard tea storage jars!
Happy DIYing!
