Fall Florals, Flowers and Keeping Time

I’m falling into Fall with pretty florals and lots of flowers. I drive by this amazing giant blue hedge of flowers everyday. They’re actually all over town right now, but this street has the most spectacular row there is. I want to live in this fairy tale of a lane and never leave. It’s important to slow down and enjoy these moments of beauty in their season. Are you as struck by beauty in nature as I am? It always causes me to pause, to take the time to appreciate what’s around me and to take it all in.
The lines between seasons are blurred in Southern California and for this flower adoring girl I love that we have so many blooms and blossoms year round.
I’m all about the romantic long floral dresses this Fall. I enjoy creating a complete look by adding the right pair of platforms, a cute light Fall jacket for when the evening turns cool and of course the accessories. In my opinion it’s the accessories that put the finishing touches on an outfit. A girl can never have too many shoes, purses, jewelry or watches. Right? Not to mention the fact that I feel utterly lost without a watch. It’s the prettiest and most practical accessory to pair with an outfit.
There are so many gorgeous long floral dresses right now, you can’t go wrong. What I love about this dress is that it flows and moves with me. Now for partnering the accessories with it. I’m incredibly inspired by nature and find myself drawn to neutrals with hints of metallics that compliment the dress. The warm subtly muted tones of the print in the dress move past Spring perfectly into Autumn. And the finishing touch? A beautifully hand crafted wooden watch.
