Is it time to upgrade to Canva Pro?
It’s no secret I love Canva! Canva is a bloggers dream. But you may be wondering is it time to upgrade to Canva Pro?
There’s just so much you can do in Canva. Not only do they have incredible templates. They have tons of amazing resources to use in your designs.
There are thousands of illustrations, photos, photo filters, fonts, icons, and shapes available to use in your designs.
When it comes to apps and programs I’m 50/50 when it comes to upgrading to the paid version.
BUT, when it comes to Canva, I’m 100% happy with my decision to upgrade to Canva Pro.
When it comes to a user friendly design platform, Canva is by far the easiest way to design stunning graphics for my blog and social media in moments.
Not a day goes by when I’m not creating a blog graphic, pin for Pinterest, image for Instagram, and so much more on Canva.
While the free version offers endless options, Canva Pro offers features that make the investment well worth it.

Why I decided to upgrade to Canva Pro:
As amazing as the free version of Canva is I love having unlimited access to all the amazing Canva Pro features!
From effortlessly removing image backgrounds to being able to use any of the elements, fonts or photos I want the monthly subscription is well worth it.

1. The Background Remover
- The BG Remover Tool: Easiest background remover tool ever. The tool removes backgrounds automatically for you in seconds.
Amazeballs.
Removing the background from an image can be tedious, but Canva Pro does ALL the work for you.
2. No Limitations
- Unlimited stock photos. Unlimited fonts. Unlimited elements.
You have access to all the photos, fonts and elements in both free and pro. The difference in the free version is that you have to pay for each pro item you use in your design.
In Pro you have unlimited use of all the photos, fonts, and elements for just $9.99 a month (when paid annually)!
3. Magically Resize
- You can magically resize your documents and images. Game changer!
Imagine designing one image size and then magically resizing it to any other sizes you want.
- You can create templates of your own.
You can use templates as lead magnets as well as sell them!
I use the template feature to offer content upgrades in posts, freebies when you sign up for my email list, to sell on Etsy and in my Happily Dwell shop.
5. Set up Brand kits
- Set up your brand kit with your logo, fonts and color palette.
When designing you have quick access to your brand kit.
Easily use the same fonts and color palette when designing for cohesive and consistent brand aesthetics.

Canva is by far my favorite graphic design tool for blogging and social media! Plus because they are so awesome they offer a 30 day free trial of Canva Pro!
And trust me, after a month of having access to all the amazing Pro features, you probably won’t want to go back to the free version. I’m just saying…

The magic resize feature saves me tons of time and allows me to create cohesive designs from multiple platforms.
