Introducing Megan, Our New Co-Blogger for Happily Dwell

Hello lovelies! I am beyond excited to be blogging with my dear friend, Naomi, on Happily Dwell! I would love to introduce myself to you all! My name is Megan, I am born and raised in Minnesota. Midwest girl who isn’t a fan of winter. Yes that right. I love it for Christmas and then I am ready for spring! I like to joke and say that I am a solar panel. On cloudy days, I want to stay in bed and do my work or read. But once I get sunshine and warmth, I am outdoors and out and about with a lot more motivation and with energy out the roof!

Once Spring hits, which I hope it decides to show up here in Minnesota soon! (This girl needs warm weather and vitamin C) But once it does I am itching to start planning my garden and winter clean up. Gardening is so therapeutic. I plan a vegetable/fruit garden and then flower garden all around my yard and in the front of my house. There is nothing like picking fresh vegetables and bouquets from my own yard. I absolutely love a variety of colors!

I Am A Midwest Girl Who Is A Southern Girl At Heart

I also love to create and decorate, which those two things come hand in hand! If I am trying to achieve a certain look I’ve seen in a magazine, Pinterest, or a scene from a movie or show, I create it. I love doing DIY because you can make it the way you want. And now that it is Spring, I am in the midst of planning my bedroom. I am going to redo it, so stay tuned! I’ll be posting all about it!

Another thing about me, I grew up in Christian family with Christ at the center of our home. I am so thankful to have a family with such faith. God has been a huge part of my everyday life. And with being a photographer, I get to capture God’s beauty. I pray that through this blog, that God guides Naomi and I to encourage and to inspire you all.

With that being said, you can look forward to encouraging post, DIY, home decor, gardening, party ideas, recipes and more!
