How to Make a Vibrant Spring Wreath
Spring inspires by its very nature. The blossoms and blooming into life at its coming. That sweet fresh season that ushers in awakening, a tender soft slow unfolding, budding and hinting of the beauty to come and then all at once bursting and blossoming, flourishing in all its glory, dressed in the finery that can only belong to nature.
I anticipate and celebrate the little buds that turn into the prettiest of flowers. I await eagerly for when those blossoms become fruit ready and willing to be plucked from their trees.
I’m thrilled at the bursts of sweet soft pastel and bright bold colors that share the spotlight of this season.
We stretch together as we wave farewell to a grey sky and welcome soft breezes, light rains and blue, blue skies.
And what better way to celebrate Spring than with a lovely floral wreath?!
How to Make a Vibrant Spring Wreath
You’ll need a craft wreath, bouquet of faux flowers, floral wire and a pair of wire cutters.
What I love about this wreath is all the vibrant colors that really make it pop! This wreath has a Hawaiian vibe to it. Not only is it vibrant, it’s cheery and bright which means you could keep it up all summer long too.
How to Make a Vibrant Spring Wreath
- Arrange your flowers on your wreath in layers to plan out where you want each piece placed. Take a picture for reference to follow as you work.
- Cut a length of wire about 3-4 inches long for each piece of greenery and flower you will be attaching.
- Start by attaching your bottom base of leaves and larger pieces. Wrap your wire through the wreath twisting the ends together on the backside.
- Layer flowers on one at a time. I love leaving about a third of the wreath open!Simple, pretty and perfect for Spring! To see how I made my wreath watch the video above.
